Today, I will introduce about my hometown.
I grew up in Niigata. I want to talk about a sea I love in Niigata.
The sand is like a small pebble
I like sea, so I would like to introduce to beautiful ocean. My hometown is Niigata. Many of the part face the sea in Niigata. Today, I would like to introduce Sasagawanagare. It is very beautiful sea and beach. The sand is like a small pebble. This flow of the sea is very fast. The sea is deep.
My memory
The children play with shallows. There are a lot of restaurants in the vicinity of this sea. All of the restaurant serve oyster cuisine. When I was child, my family used to go to a restaurant there. Of course, we enjoyed playing and swimming in Sasagawanagare. Sometimes, my father took the oyster and cook it there. It is a great memory and experience.
The event in Sasagawanagare
The event of the formal start of the sea is held annual. The day, we can buy a special product and seafood, and so on.
The nagasi somen contest is held the day. It is free.
Nagasi somen is a kind of Japanese eating style. Somen is a kind of udon, thin wheat noodle.
When you try nagasi somen, you have to catch the noodles flowing in a bamboo pipe with chopsticks.
After catching the noodles, you should dip them in a cup of sauce and eat them.
There are mysterious events too.
It is catching of live fish. The live fish is released to the small pool.
The children catch of the live fish with bare hands. It is unbelievable.
I like to eat fish, but I don’t like touch fish.
The innocent children touch live fish unabashedly.
The children have burning curiosity.
When I was child, I used to catch of the live fish with bare hands. I can’t believe it now. Some children catch of live fish with gunte.
The summer Freedom research
When I was elementary school student, I studied salt of Sasagawanagare.
First, I got seawater. Next, I evaporated it.
By doing that, the salt appear. I bought ordinal salt at the shop, and I compared with it.
The salt of Sasagawanagare is more salty than commercially available salt.
Finally
I want to go to Sasagawanagare, when I go back my hometown.
This sea is really good place. But many Japanese people don’t know there.
People who live in Niigata often visit there. People should see this ocean view.
You will never forget the view and memory.
You should definitely try visiting there too.
